On Tuesday, Sept 15, members of the Fairfield Cultural Alliance Board awarded grants to five local non-profit organizations at the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center. Receiving mini-grants this year were ICON gallery for assistance with their Nov and Dec exhibit, Bill’s Soup Part II; Fairfield Art Assn for a new public metal sculpture; Fairfield First! to pay event photographer Werner Elmker; My Lucky Day for help with new signage, and Freddy Fonseca for the Chamber Music Series at the Sondheim.
The Fairfield Cultural Alliance is a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting arts and culture in Fairfield. Through their Cultural Trust Fund, they help arts and cultural organizations create events and experiences for our town.
